Eaton: Woman tells man she finds 'human skull in

What was reported as a human skull in the trash turned out to be just a Halloween decoration.

“I just got a woman knock on my front door and she said she was digging in the trash at the house,” the caller said. “She said that there was a human skull in there.”

The man told police the woman came knocking on his door around 6:45 a.m. to tell him she found the item.

After responding, police did find a skull, but determined it was a Halloween decoration.

The call was placed around 6:45 a.m. Monday at the corner of Somers and Beech streets.
