Alexander and Phillips surrendered Friday, April 27, ending a stand-off begun when they forced their way inside the Fifth Third Bank on North Main Street in Springboro as the manager was opening.
The bank manager escaped as officers began pulling up outside. No one was injured, although the bank manager said he was shot at as he ran from the building.
Both were released from Indiana prisons last year. They remained in the Hamilton County jail, pending a detention hearing Thursday in U.S. District Court m Cincinnati.
