2. Keeping older planes in the air
A workforce of around 3,000 people from across the country are working to maintain and modernize more than 2,000 aircraft on the Fighters and Bombers Directorate at Wright-Patterson, according to Brig. Gen. Michael J. Schmidt.

4. Xenia developer seeks funding
Plans to build a family-friendly entertainment center in the former Fulmer’s grocery in Xenia have been delayed while the new developer seeks funding. The Xenia resident and owner of the project has made adjustments to the plans, including a miniature golf course, a small bowling alley and bumper cars.
