Funding is available on a competitive basis, and the deadline to apply is March 29.
"Our business community is an important component of the Montgomery County ecosystem," Montgomery County Commission President Debbie Lieberman said in the release.
Lieberman said the funding will help Montgomery County’s “business community set an example of corporate and environmental responsibility” for the county.
Of the $150,000, $120,000 will fund capital equipment purchases and $30,000 will fund contracts, read the release.
Applicants must attend a briefing session at the MCSWD building, located at 2405 Sandridge Drive, on Feb. 5 at 1:30 p.m.
