Man cut out of vehicle after flipping over on U.S. 127 in Preble County

U.S. 127 has now reopened after a vehicle flipped over in an accident, OSP confirmed.

We are working to learn more about the condition and identity of the man that was cut out of the vehicle.

UPDATE @ 1:40 a.m.: A male in his 50s was cut out of a vehicle after it flipped over in an accident on U.S. 127 in Preble County Saturday morning.

The male, unresponsive at the scene, was transported to Miami Valley hospital, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

The vehicle flipped over after rear-ending a tractor traveling northbound on U.S. 127 around midnight, OSP confirmed.

U.S. 127 will remain shut down while crews work to clear the scene.

FIRST REPORT: The Ohio State Highway Patrol has shut down U.S. 127 north of U.S. 40. due to a multi-vehicle crash.

Crews were dispatched to the area around 12:10 a.m. Saturday, according to scanner reports.

Three cars are reportedly involved.

MedFlight was requested but denied due to icy conditions, according to scanner reports.
