The driver suffered minor injuries.
Dayton Power and Light crews were able to push the pole out of the road.
Police said the accident remains under investigation.
A man was taken to Sycamore Hospital after an early Saturday morning accident on State Route 4 and Eby Road.
Police said the driver was southbound on State Route 4, went off the side of the road, and hit a power pole. The impact knocked the pole into the roadway.
