Pee Wee hoops cheerleaders earn top spots at event

SPRINGBORO — Members of the fifth/sixth grade and fourth grade Springboro Pee Wee Basketball Cheerleading squads won first place at the Midwest Cheer Expo Heart of Ohio Championship at Hobart Arena on Feb. 20.

The fifth/sixth grade squad also placed first and named grand champion. The fourth-graders won first place and the sport award.

In another competition, the fourth- and sixth-grades noncompetitive cheerleaders won first place for elementary school time out performances at Feb. 21 JamFest Game Day Competition in Columbus.
