Springboro police Chief Jeff Kruithoff said investigators are working on getting through interviews at the child advocacy center, which is part of the investigation into former physical education teacher John Hopkins and allegations he acted inappropriately with students.

“It is still unknown if any when any criminal charges may be sought and how many counts that could involve,” he said in an email to News Center 7 reporter John Bedell.
A Cincinnati-based attorney who said she’s representing one of the alleged victims has said the allegations against Hopkins involve sexual misconduct.

Hopkins taught gym at Clearcreek Elementary and Springboro Intermediate.
Kruithoff said the interviews are “time consuming.”
The district has not released any details about the allegations.
