Montgomery County WorkForce Development has teamed up with the Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC), 6800 Hoke Road, to offer a five-week pre-employment training program to prepare qualified job seekers for jobs in local warehouse and distributions centers.
Qualified Workforce Investment Act and Temporary Assistance to Needy Family individuals as well as veterans will earn a Manufacturing Skills Standards Certificate (MSSC) and Fork Lift certification enhancing overall qualifications for existing jobs. Certificate training for this program will be held at MVCTC and begins November 11, 2013.
