More showers, storms arrive after midnight; muggy morning expected

DETAILED FORECAST

Overnight: A break in showers and storms is expected with more showers and storms arriving after midnight, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist Eric Elwell said. Temperatures will drop to around 70 degrees by morning with muggy conditions.

Tuesday: Expect scattered showers and a few thunderstorms to be around, especially through the first half of the day. Temperatures will top out near 80 degrees.

Wednesday: It will be noticeably cooler with much less humidity around. Skies will become mostly sunny with highs only in the middle 70s.

Thursday: A nice, comfortable day is expected with sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s.
Friday: The day will start with sunshine but clouds will be on the increase in the afternoon. Highs will reach to around 80 degrees.

Saturday: Expect lots of clouds with a few passing showers and storms around. It will be more humid with highs in the lower 80s.
