Summer-like weather patterns to bring storms

Some of these storms could be strong or severe because of the higher winds aloft interacting with the front. The Storm Prediction Center has all of the Miami Valley under a slight risk for severe storms Sunday.

The front is forecast to shift far enough north to decrease the threat of storms, however, the front will return southward, increasing the threat again by Tuesday.

On and off storms are expected to continue through the week.

With the front remaining draped across the region, the threat of occasional strong to severe storms will also linger.

Damaging winds, along with locally heavy rainfall, will be the main threat from the strongest clusters of storms.
