July 2011: Evan Dixon, 24, is shot in the club's parking lot about 2:30 a.m. after a fight apparently starts inside the club and spills out into the parking lot.
March 2012: Council unanimously objects to Heat Nightclub's liquor license renewal because of excessive police calls to the establishment, and files the objection with the Ohio Division of Liquor Control.
Oct. 24, 2012: Based on a hearing July 31, the Division of Liquor Control rejects Heat Nightclub's liquor license renewal. The nightclub appeals the division's decision with the state commission.
November 2012: The city files a pair of objections with the state commission requesting that Heat Nightclub not be permitted to sell alcohol.
Nov. 3, 2012: A large brawl ensues at Heat Nightclub that includes gunshots. No injuries were reported and no one was arrested. Police later found four .40-caliber shell casings in the parking lot.
Nov. 9, 2012: The LCC denies Heat Nightclub's request to continue operating with a liquor license during the appeal process.
December 2012: The LCC reverses the Division of Liquor Control's decision and allows a liquor license for the club. Huber Heights appeals that decision in the Franklin County Common Pleas Court.
April 2013: A Franklin County Common Pleas Court judge upholds the LCC's decision.
Saturday, May 11: An early morning shooting outside Heat Nightclub leaves one man dead and two others injured.
Sunday, May 12: Huber Heights police confirm the second victim, Keenan Hall, 20, of Dayton has died after he was shot.
Tuesday, May 14: Judge Dennis J. Adkins grants Huber Heights a temporary restraining order against Heat Nightclub, prohibiting the club from opening.
Tuesday, May 28: Huber Heights is granted a preliminary injunction against Heat Nightclub by Judge Mary Wiseman in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
Wednesday, June 12: It is discovered that Heat Nightclub is closing its "doors forever," according to the online auction website Got2Bid.com.
