The fire started around 2 a.m. Aug. 30. When crews arrived, the house was already 50 percent involved.
Officials said at the time that a possible hoarding situation in the home made rescue efforts difficult — furniture and other items blocked the door.
The coroner’s office is still working to identify two people killed in an Aug. 12 fire on Wiley Street in Springfield.
