Miamisburg OKs new deal with soccer association

The city of Miamisburg has approved a new agreement with the Miamisburg Soccer Association.

The deal approved by the city’s council Tuesday night calls for the MSA to continue using the 42-acre, 15-field complex on city land on Medlar Road through Nov. 1, 2018, city records show.

The agreement calls for the association to reimburse the “city or vendor” $4,400 a year. At the end of the deal, the association can extend it for one year, records show.

The 36-year-old MSA, a nonprofit, has about 600 recreational and select youth soccer players a year, according to its website.
