Superload making its way on U.S. 127 in Butler, Preble counties to cause traffic delays

A superload transport will cause lane restrictions today as it continues along U.S. 127 through Butler and Preble counties.

Miller Transfer began its route Thursday morning Hamilton County and was to eventually reach U.S. 127 North before continuing on U.S. 127 in Butler and Preble counties, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.

During the transport there will be various lane restrictions. Also, utility workers will be moving overhead wires and cutting back overhanging tree branches as needed to accommodate the height of the the load, ODOT stated in its release.

Motorists should expect periods of delay and temporary traffic signal outages.
