Vintage Dayton: Sept. 5, 2025

In 1993, plans were formed for the completion of what was known as the Greater Dayton Beltway.

But those plans never happened.

The project would have turned I-675 into a complete loop around the Dayton region, adding western and northern legs.

For this edition of Vintage Dayton, we went into the archives for a story that began in the 1950s and would have been one of Dayton’s biggest projects ever.
