The suspect, described as a white woman, wearing a gray sweatshirt and a mask, displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the clerk.
The woman fled the store with an undermined amount of cash, but police are not sure if she left on foot or in a vehicle.
A K9 unit was called to track the suspect but was unsuccessful.
Centerville Police are still investigating the incident, and are currently in the process of gathering surveillance footage from the store.
No injuries were reported.
