According to a statement of fact information sheet filed in the case, authorities discovered in October 2018 that Montgomery possessed around 330 images of child pornography.

“Jeremy Montgomery traded child pornography files with other users on (a) website on twelve or more occasions,” the statement of facts says. “He saved many of the files that he received from other users onto his (computer’s) external hard drive.”

The photos Montgomery was charged in connection with involved images of adolescent children being sexually abused by adults and children engaging in sexual activity with other children.

“The court recommends that the defendant be given credit for all allowable pre-sentence jail-time served from April 25, 2019, and that the defendant be incarcerated as close to his home in the Dayton, Ohio area as possible consistent with his security status,” a sentencing document says.
