She has also been classified as a Tier III sex offender, requiring registration with the sheriff’s office every 90 days for the rest of her life, if she is released from prison.
The Journal is not naming the woman to protect the identity of the victim.
Between June and August 2007, the woman transported her daughter three times to residences on Pearl Street and Lylburn Road, where she had arranged for Clint Nevitt of Middletown to have sex with her daughter, according to statements read in court when she entered the plea. The woman was also present when the sexual conduct occurred.
Before imposing the mandatory sentence, Oney noted the woman was convicted previously for use of a minor in sexually oriented material.
Nevitt, 33, of 211 Lylburn Road, Middletown, pleaded guilty last month to three counts of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition for having sex with the 11-year-old, as well as a 9-year-old Middletown girl.
He was sentenced to 18 years in prison as part of a plea bargain on May 11.
