Dayton Daily News connects community, candidates during pandemic election

The Dayton Daily News considers it vital for our work to help our readers cut through the noise around this election and know clearly where things stand.

In the last two months, amid the coronavirus pandemic, we have:

— shared with readers our commitment to cover local races and issues fairly,

— presented stories about each contested race and tax issue in the region;

— created an Election 2020 guide to give one-stop access to our coverage; and

— hosted a series of Facebook Live events focusing on voting rights or featuring the candidates in key races. You can watch them at the links below.

We also reaffirm now our commitment that readers will be able to rely on us in digital on election night and beyond as results become clear.
