Election highlights: Everything you need to know about Tuesday’s election

In a confusing election that was extended more than a month due to the coronavirus outbreak, voter turnout was low in the Ohio primary election.

Voters approved a majority of tax issue requests in area counties, but according to unofficial elections results released Tuesday night, a Greene County sales tax request to build a new jail was denied and Troy’s and Bellbrook’s school tax issues lost.
