1. All in Adventures

All in Adventures, a breakout room company based in Georgia, appears to be eyeing the Dayton Mall for its first Ohio location.

The company has about eight to 10 escape themes ranging from “Super Hero” to “Zombie Apocalypse” at most locations. An application has been filed to renovate a space for the company at the Dayton Mall, according to Montgomery County records.

This news organization has reached out to All in Adventures, the Dayton Mall and Washington Prime Group for more information.

The company’s website shows it has 38 locations in about 15 states. Ohio currently does not have any All in Adventure shops, but more will come soon, according to the company’s website.

2. The Room Place

The Room Place, a Chicago-based home furniture store, has plans to open its first local store at the Dayton Mall. An opening date is yet to be announced.

The Room Place started in 1912 and has since opened 25 stores and expanded to Indianapolis. The Room Place offers shoppers a “total-room concept to furniture shopping” by selling coordinated room sets, according to the company’s website.

3. Ross Dress for Less

Ross Dress for Less appears to be coming to the Dayton area. The Dayton Mall has submitted a request to add an exterior sign for the discount retail chain. Ross is a bargain retailer with the closest locations to Dayton in Indianapolis and Louisville, according to the store's site locator. Last year, the company opened 21 Ross Dress For Less locations as part of a larger plan to open 70 Ross stores and 20 dd's locations.
