    Rising costs for construction materials due to inflation is causing local school districts to consider adjustments on new building projects. Franklin City Schools is working on building a new high school and renovating the current high school into a junior high school. Material backlogs for items such as steel are forcing the district to delay projected completion dates. This is an artist's rendition of what the new high school could look like.
